Summary of our Route

We will be riding over 500 miles, greater than 13 hours on the bikes, should be a fun trip

Day 5 June 14th

Our last day, a short jaunt from Jemez Springs back to Albuquerque to split up and go home.

Day 4 June 13th

We head out on the bikes from Ojo Caliente to Jemez Springs, another hot springs awaiting sore asses and chapped leather, of course I'm describing the older folks of the tour.

Our last night will be at Jemez Mountain Inn.

Day 3 June 12th

We started off our day by riding the Enchanted Circle which took us through gorgeous canyons, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and back down through the Taos Valley.  Toward the end of our ride on the circle we stopped to eat lunch at Orlando's and the wind was picking up.

Day 2 June 11th

Ride from Santa Fe up to Taos, not a long ride, and we hug the edge of the hills.

Our second night stay will be at the laughing Horse Inn, Terry, Dan, and Pete have stayed here before at Terry's second wedding which took place in Taos, NM.

Day 1 June 10th

Our route will take us from the meet me spot in Albuquerque to Madrid, NM.  Madrid was made famous from the movie the Wildhogs, the inspiration of our trip.

After Madrid we will head up to our resting stop for the night in Santa Fe, NM.

Dos semanas y contando (two weeks and counting)

We are two weeks away from our Wild Hogs Trip.

Thursday June 10th afternoon around 1:30 p.m.  


This is where Dan picks up his Harley, we can use this as a launching spot to head up to Santa Fe.
